Immigration in Chile has become massive in the last 5 years, this has brought benefits and also made visible some problems of our culture. This process is beneficial because the immigrants boost our economy, however, the arrival of black-skinned immigrants has shown the racism of the Chilean culture. This is our problem, not of the immigrants, therefore the real benefit of the immigration process will only occur if we mutually integrate our cultures. For this reason, the real question is: how can we integrate immigrants into our culture and at same time learn from them?

Cristóbal Ortiz Vilches, A.K.A. Tobal, is a (not so) young sociology student at the University of Chile. He is a product of the public education of the bicentennial schools, therefore, he shares some values ​​of the public education that aspires to excellence: effort, dedication and also, although I try to change it, the competitiveness. Here he was president of the course twice, where he developed leadership and, at the same time, hatred for leadership. In this place he met great friends, with them he tried two music ventures: rap and cumbia, however both failed. In 2014, he entered his first university degree, commercial engineering. Here he meets new great friends, but he does not like commercial engineering because it is a career without critical thinking. Therefore, in 2016 he left this career and in 2017 he entered to the sociology career.
